Depeche Mode, Samplers and MIDI

Here is a Depeche Mode Concert from 1987 and you can see that
they only use two EMU Emulator's and a guitar for the sound,
This is what I was talking about a few weeks ago about samples
and samplers and sampler keyboards like the Emulator Series.
You can have up to 16 Channels to use per MIDI connection
which means you can have drums and have three preset patches
from one keyboard as your songs main instruments but it takes
playing with the settings of your keyboards and drums, you can
have two keyboards hooked up together with the drums provided
that you plug the MIDI out of one keyboard to the MIDI input of
the second keyboard and the output of that to the drum machine.
